Jasmine Thai Cuisine - Chesapeake

Dinner prices seem to be a bit high. But the fried rice with shrimp was good. I try many Thai spots wherever I go, I would only return for fried rice if nothing else than during lunchtime. I got the chicken loaf salad, it was a little too wet for my pleasure.

A good place for Thai food. The chicken was so tender. My husband swallowed the jasmine spring rolls while they were still very hot. Fresh food. Very nice service. We were glad we stopped.

I tried the drunk noodles and was pleased to see a generous amount of vegetables mixed in, which I ended up eating most of. That was a definite plus! I ordered it at a spice level of 3, but it felt more like a 4—haha! I think I’ll go for a 2 next time. The dish had a nice flavorful spice, not just heat. The staff were also very friendly.

The service was incredibly friendly and efficient. We placed our order, and the food was prepared while we chatted at our table. It arrived promptly, piping hot and fresh! I’ll definitely return when I’m in town.

...so where to start. The customer service is TERRIBLE and it's sad because the chef there, she's really nice. The guy at the register is Extremely rude, not just to me but to customers on the phone and anyone coming to get an order to go. He exaggerated cook times so that customers would leave, I and my friend sat and watched him do this at least five times and that's not including his phone orders. The food looks good but it ISN'T and that's also disappointing, not only was the food unappetizing it was overpriced and plain white rice isn't included with the meals, it's an expensive extra that you have to request. We also had to tell them to bag our TAKE-OUT. Lastly I usually go to Racha Thai Cuisine and the only reason I didn't go today is because for some reason they were closed on Tuesday. I REGRET wasting my money at Jasmine Thai Cuisine, the food and customer service was disappointing. A very UNWELCOMING experience for my friend and myself. GO TO RACHA THAI CUISINE instead!!
