Cafe On The Bay - Chesapeake City

Undoubtedly the best café in the area! I am so happy that I was finally able to find this place for a good coffee! You will find everything here the ambience, welcoming staff, cosy interior as well as a variety of good food and coffee. A

We stopped while visiting the museums in the area. It is a very clean coffee shop with friendly workers. My one critique is that all of their seating consists of high tops which is very challenging for those of us with limited mobility. I got a hot chocolate which was good and not overly sweet. The environment is welcoming and their bathrooms are clean.

After a very long night of travel up the Delaware and into the canal we docked at the public marina in Chesapeake City. While walking my dog we found you Cafe. After returning the dog back to the boat 6 of us arrived in the Cafe. We were hungry and weary. Your friendly smile, service and food were excellent. The breakfast sandwiches and wraps were delicious and the turkey club was one of the best. Thank you very much. SV So Much More...

I live in the area and when ever I want a great breakfast sandwich and a freshly brewed cup of coffee, Cafe on the Bay is where I go. Add in some wonderful service, friendly smiles and great views of the canal this will always be my go to place whenever I’m in Chesapeake City.

Excellent. So many delicious options to drink and eat. Not a bad thing on the menu. Highly recommend!! They even have pup cups for your dog!!
