Typical spoons pub, central location, fast service using the App and great real ale

Food was nice and very well priced. Shame about all the drunks swearing. Not a family friendly environment.

Eat here quite often and was disappointed that the person bringing the food out would rather disagree with us than apologise. Twice. Went back to the kitchen and came back still telling us we were wrong. (Red hair and suit). Our table was cleared by someone else and he was lovely. Felt like he cared.

Visited here on 1st Jan 2024. Previously visited The Exchange in June 2022. Another decent quality Wetherspoons branch that does the excellent value 'Top Plates, Low Rates ' food deals. An All Day Brunch and a pint of Guinness for the sum of £6.28, is very good value for money. Pub wasn 't overly busy, however was to be expected on New Year 's day. Only gripe was food arrived before the pint. Definitely worth a visit if in Banbury!
