Horse And Jockey Pub - Cherwell

This pub is quite pleasant. I went there for a fun night of darts. The staff was very friendly. It's a great spot to enjoy the evening in Banbury.

Today, we visited this restaurant for the first time at noon, thinking it opened at 11 am based on our internet search. However, we were unable to enter as the door was closed. The person inside seemed to be trying to communicate with us, but we couldn't understand them as they did not open the door or window to speak to us. Assuming the restaurant wouldn't open until the evening, we ended up at another establishment where we had a pleasant time. We will likely return to the exchange in the future.

Made my friend and I feel very uncomfortable, was rude the last time we was there all in all wouldn’t coke back due to that waitress (she was exempt from wearing a mask) used to go there all the time till recently !

Cheap and cheerful but also disgusting in the toilets sometimes and some creepy old dudes in here but it's okay I suppose

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic. It's a quiet pub with a nice vibe. The only downside is that it could use some fresh paint, but the bartender assured us that it will be taken care of very soon. Definitely worth checking out.
