The Farm And Fisherman Tavern Market

Great service. Seated promptly with no problem. We had a reservation. Friendly atmosphere. And for a fussy eater like me, the food was delicious.

I 'm sitting here, still thinking about the AMAZING meal I just ate. I 'm visiting NJ for a military retirement, and my host took me to Farm and Fisherman Tavern. We had the pork wings (pictured); they were delicious. Don 't expect a BBQ sauce. The ribs were fried to perfection and topped with a pickled red onion garnish. We didn 't eat all the pork ribs only because we wanted to take a sample home for others to experience. My entree was the flounder. I forgot to take a starting photo because once I tasted it, I could not stop eating. The fish was cooked to perfection, with crispy potatoes and kale that complimented the fish so well. The amount of sauce was spot on! The atmosphere in the restaurant is a great combination of after-work, family, and bar. Our server, Oliva, was excellent; she provided explanations of menu items and phenomenal service. If you want fresh food, good service at a decent price (good food is worth it), try The Farm and Fisherman Tavern. I was not compensated in any way for this review.

Food is so good and they are constantly adding delicious new items to the menu. I could eat here everyday.

I had this mahi mahi in the fall of last year and I think about it weekly. I think it was a special, but I hope I'm able to come back soon and see it on the menu! I'd love to have it again.

I've been coming to the Farm and Fisherman since we moved to the area five years ago. In five years, I've never had anything short of an excellent meal. I love that their menu rotates and that they keep doing risottos and farrottos with bay scallops, the superior scallops. Looking forward to many more amazing meals.
