Contribuiți la feedbackWe ordered a beef egg noodle dish, seafood laksa, and satay BBQ pork with noodles and bok choy. Each dish was delicious, packed with bold flavors, and freshly cooked to perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and would definitely return. The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were more than enough to satisfy us. If you notice this place, you'll see it's always busy, and now we understand why!
We sampled the Chilli Cuttlefish, which was tender and had a noticeable kick primarily from the dried chili, and the Beef Rendang, which was also tender, packed with flavor, and had a nice level of heat and spice. We enjoyed these dishes with a side of steamed rice and roti canai. The service was friendly and fairly efficient, and the atmosphere was casual with indoor seating available. The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous. Overall, this is a great place for Singaporean cuisine, and I particularly recommend the beef rendang.
I visited the restaurant last night and was pleasantly surprised by how busy it was for a Monday evening. The flow of diners appeared to be the highest among its competitors in the area. We were fortunate enough to snag a table near the front, allowing us to enjoy the beautifully decorated open space that created a relaxing atmosphere for our dinner. According to Chef Simon, they are currently offering a temporary menu to "test the waters" as they work to provide a better variety of dishes for locals after resolving any initial issues. Despite being temporary, the menu is quite extensive, showcasing a range of dishes that caught our interest. We ordered chicken satay and pan-fried dumplings as starters, followed by the traditional Seafood Laksa (a must-try for assessing the food quality) and Hainan Chicken Rice. We also tried the soft-shell crab served in a large bun, which we found intriguing. To drink, we ordered a Strawberry Chamomile mocktail and a hot Singapore-style white tea. The service was friendly and attentive, reflecting good management and staff training. Our food was presented within a reasonable time, and I must say the quality exceeded that of the previous Little Singapore in Market Square. The broth for the Laksa was authentically flavored, with generous ingredients, while the chicken satay was above average. However, the true stars of the meal were the pan-fried dumplings and the soft-shell crab with chili sauce. The prawn in the dumpling was perfectly bouncy, adding a refreshing touch to the dish. The portion of soft-shell crab was generous and impressively served in a large bun. Diners often tore apart the bun to dip it into the flavorful chili sauce, which had just the right amount of heat. Overall, we were very impressed with our dinner in terms of ambiance, service, and food. Nevertheless, there are areas for improvement—such as the tea cup used for the hot Singapore milk tea, which we thought could be upgraded. We hope that Simon will expand his new restaurant chain soon (we've heard that additional branches are on the way) so that local diners can enjoy even more Singaporean dishes. Rating: 4.5/5
I asked in the restaurant if there is something on the menu that is half friendly. the girl told me that she could write up, make sure if she had my job that it had no halal products in him. I totally asked the opposite of what she heard. talk about bad communication skills and lack of customer service.
Laksa too oily and bland, no taste and the veggies not fresh. food: 1/5 service: 4/5 atmosphere: 4/5 .more
