Writers Cafe - Chennai

Just enjoyed a superb lunch Writers ' Cafe. Lovely food, wonderful hospitality, great experience and the best part is the cafe is run by acid-attack victims. So please do stop buy, grab a bite and support this fabulous initiative. In the words of Chennai 's favourite restaurateur, 'Hot Breads ' Mahadevan, who happens to run this place, 'Ditch the sympathy and bring your appetite '.

I just had a wonderful lunch consisting of Swiss Cheese Fries, Ceasar Salad and Tuna, tartare sauce, pickles on Chiabatti., and Death By Chocolate cake! What a great atmosphere and a wonderful staff. This is my new favorite place in Chennai!

Great place for writers, book and food lovers. A wonderful place to have meaningful conversations or enjoy being in solitude with something to write or read.

The best thing about the cafe is it is run by the staff who has suffered Burns and all the money which is generated goes to the NGO who helps the victims in their upliftment. Moreover, the food is amazing. Very delicious and all the food is cooked by the victims themselves who are highly trained. The overall Experience is amazing with wide range of Niche stationery rejuvenating coffee.
