Loved the authentic experience offered by Amma restaurant. Everything from the ambience to their menu card and banana leaf plating screams classic. They are well known for authentic dishes. We ordered egg dosai, chicken chettinadu gravy, biriyani, and omlette. Their omlette and egg dosai were delicious. Their biriyani had authentic indigenous flavor. The chicken chettinadu gravy was out of this world. We ended up ordering additional parotta just to finish the gravy. It was that delicious. If you happen to visit Amma restaurant, give their authentic South Indian dishes a try.
I am from Delhi, loved it here. Authentic south indian dishes..
They always keep their standard. Healthy food. The Rasam is the best
One of the authentic restaurants in Chennai to have Chettinad food. All dishes tasted so well, everything was less spicy and cheap. The ambience was good enough and comes to service they are best. All settings of the server were polite and professional also friendly. Try APPAM AND PAYA when you visit what was best. The biryani aroma was beautiful and the taste decent. Less parking available, but somehow the road is empty to park the car.
