Gasthaus und Pension Schlossvorwerk

Close to the park through which we had strolled on a sunny afternoon. The Gasthaus has a summer terrace where we sat down. The waiter was there quickly, asked if we wanted to drink something or browse the menu. There were others already having dinner. We decided upon a beer. Then browsed through the menu and each of us picked a main (they looked sizeable portions . Mine had three meats (chicken breast, beef steak and pork , pan fried potatoes and green beans. For dessert I had a DDR ice which was nice does contain liquor though : All in all this was a pleasant experience. Service was swift. I 'd recommend!

We stayed in this hotel. Its a nice large room but with no modern amenties like a fridge for e.g. It lacks a womans touch which gives it that cosy feel. Its got loads of storage space which I personally felt was unnecessary. Breakfast was poor to say the least. Very very basic offerings. A boiled egg , some fruit , some cheese some salami. When I asked for a fried egg the lady told me that she didn't know how to make one. At the price that they charge its just not worth it. The only redeeming factor about this place is its location right in front of the lake its close proximity to the city center.

Often the gastronomy at tourist points is very concentrated on mass and you feel the theme of Nepp fast. Not here. Friendly services in a rustic place. Food freshly prepared, beer thoroughly tapped. Even if you do not visit the castle, a return to the restaurant is worth everything.

Food supplements: The dishes were beautifully dressed and very well tasted. The service was once again excellent, very friendly and accommodating. The phone reservation was more than friendly. They feel welcome and good. There you will be very happy to come back! — Traditional guest house at Schlossberg, lovingly furnished. We were warmly welcomed, despite hectic and full of guest rooms. The service was friendly, attentive and flink. It was clean and tidy, very happy again!
