The Rasoi - Cheltenham

This is our neighborhood Indian takeout spot. It may not be quite as good as "Bombay Night," but it's still pretty solid. The onion bhajis are excellent and the butter chicken is pretty tasty. The staff is very pleasant. While it may not be the top Indian restaurant in the area, it is still a decent option.

Been there quite a few times and worth supporting. Food good as are prices, service and corkage so we are pleased to have as local restaurant.

The Rasoi is a very intresting restaurant, it was a very new restaurant when i first went there. I got to say i truly was impressed everything i asked for i was catered with. It truly was an amazing experience with the family. I will definetly come back next year, the service was great more importantly the curry was great.

Finally we have a great Indian café close by in Sandringham. The food is truly delicious.Most Indian cafes have little meat or vegetables and lots of sauce but Rasoi has great quality food not scrimping on anything. We were a party of 8 and all were delighted with the food.The variety is good and they do the usual favourites with extra flair.Décor is pleasant, a small café and happily is BYO. Staff are friendly and organised.This will be a regular café for us to visit. A great cheap and cheerful!

Price is good but my family did not really enjoy the food very much, we won't be going back. Hampton street or Parkdale have far superior Indian restaurants.
