The Daily Bean - Cheltenham

This restaurant is always lovely for enjoying a coffee and a slice of cake on a Sunday afternoon (just make sure to arrive before 3pm when they close). The coffee is delicious and the staff is very friendly. Don't be fooled by the two tables near the door - there are more in the back of the restaurant.

Great coffee, wonderful welcome! I’ve only just recently discovered The Daily Bean and what a find! Owners Lizzie and Sarah and their fantastic team make you feel at home right from the start. The main seating area is at the back of the ‘Cook’...shop and has a warm and cosy feeling a great place for a catch up with friends. And for anyone wanting to sit and watch the world go by, there’s a bright and airy spot just inside the door. It’s clear this isn’t just a place to get good coffee though, it’s a community hub where everyone is welcomed. Lizzie and Sarah are also the first retailers in Cheltenham to partner with Billy Chip a Bristol-based scheme set up to help the homeless in our communities. ...And once you meet them, you will totally see why they are exactly the right people to lead the way in Cheltenham. I can see that this is going to become my go-to place when I’m shopping in the Bath Road!

Whenever I go to the Daily Bean, I always have a great time in a relaxing environment. I often visit on weekends with my one-month-old daughter and sometimes bring our small dog along too. The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating. I always feel welcomed when I walk in. The cakes and croissants they offer are delicious and their espresso has just the right balance of bitterness and flavor, it's perfect! It has become my go-to coffee spot every Saturday morning, and sometimes on Sundays too because the experience is just so pleasant. My daughter is at ease and content at the Daily Bean, enjoying the view out the front windows and the attention she gets from the staff. The high chairs are in great condition and always clean, and there are plenty of toys for her to play with. I can't believe the Daily Bean doesn't have a ton of five-star reviews. I will continue to visit as my daughter grows up, eventually being able to enjoy her own coffee, although that may be a while before she can handle the caffeine.

It has been a little while since we have been here and it remains excellent. The staff and owners are such lovely people who make you very welcome. The coffee and cakes are lovely. You can also get cook frozen meals at the venue and...they are very good.

We have been frequenting the Cook Cheltenham location for many years and there is no doubt that their food is delicious. Their lasagna is especially addictive due to its incredible taste. Customers are always impressed by the quality. Their products are convenient and reasonably priced. However, the coffee shop could use some improvement. The back room is a bit disorganized and unkempt. The staff is friendly, but the menu options are limited. Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with a gammon and coleslaw sandwich that was served on cheap, chewy, tasteless bread. The coffee is good and the location is popular, but with some upgrades, it could be much more appealing.
