The setting of the restaurant is lovely, and I enjoyed the food. The prices were a bit high, but the food was delicious.

A lovely evening with really good good and a quiet atmosphere. Great staff always attentive and helpful.

My 40th birthday celebration at The Storyteller was fantastic! The food was amazing, the wine was lovely, the service was brilliant, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The staff were incredibly patient with us as we chatted away at the end of the evening, even though they probably wanted to go to sleep. We had a great time and are thankful for the experience. We had a wonderful evening with friends, who were also celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. A joint, informal celebration. We visit the Storyteller two or three times year as we feel we can trust the service, food and drink. This time the food was very good, and the vegetarian options were notable for their variety (not extensive and could be expanded) and quality. The wine list is fine but better to get up and look at their their wine racks. The service was good and the interval between courses well judged. Although the restaurant was busy, the level of background noise was suitable, making it easy to hear and be heard.
