Tacos Veracruz - Chelsea

I highly recommend this taco truck. It's the best I've found and feels the closest to an authentic Mexican taco truck from California. Their dishes are full, delicious, and bursting with flavor. The portion sizes are excellent for the prices. Plus, the man who takes your order is fantastic—he's never gotten my orders wrong and hasn't forgotten anything I've ever asked for, and I've been coming to this location for over a year. I've even gotten my coworkers to come here when they crave Mexican food. Overall, this is the best taco truck I've been to in Alabama!

Last night, I ordered nachos and a burrito for $16.00 and paid with my card, but I didn't receive a receipt. To my surprise, I was charged $40.00. Once I saw the transaction notification, I immediately returned to the food truck. The lady seemed to be aware of the mistake right away and quickly counted out $24 in cash, handed it to me, and tried to send me on my way. I will not be returning to this food truck again because of the poor customer service and lack of integrity.

I ordered a steak taco and a chicken quesadilla, and both were outstanding. They complemented each other perfectly with the salsa and verde. The salsa had a nice heat to it, just how I like it, without overwhelming the flavor. The food was delicious, and the service was impressively quick; I received my order within just five minutes.
