The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. However, the restaurant charges $10 for a small portion of guacamole.

The food was excellent! I visited with a large group of 20, but I wouldn't do that again. However, I definitely plan to return with a smaller group or just my family. The service for such a large party was slow, which seemed to overwhelm the server. That said, the food was truly enjoyable. There's also convenient parking right by the restaurant. You should expect to spend around $25-30 per person.

The food was delicious and very enjoyable. However, the service was disappointing. We were seated quickly and our drink orders were taken promptly, but after we received our drinks and appetizers, the waitress seemed to vanish for about 30 minutes. By that time, we wanted another drink and were ready to place our main order. When she finally returned, she took our order and drink request again but then disappeared once more. We were left waiting without drinks or food. My daughter had to go find her, and although she brought my drink, the others were still missing. To make a long story short, we had to search for her about three times. I'm not sure what the issue was, but I’m willing to give it another chance, hoping to change my rating to a more favorable one.

Service was very relaxed and friendly. The kitchen worked fast and accurately delivered my picky eater meal (don't judge). I had tacos al carbon and the flavors were great but the steak was overdone. Overall, it was a good family-friendly restaurant. I'llbe back.

I went to El Potro last night to celebrate my Dad's birthday. We wanted to try some place new. I can't believe I have lived in the area so long and never thought to check it out. I have definitely been missing out!! The service was easily the best serviceI've ever had at any restaurant. Sady was the nicest person and made my Dad's birthday so special. He brought us things on thehouse and was just so unbelievably kind. He made us feel at home. You have to try the margaritas. We had a huge passion fruitmargarita that was so perfect and not overly sweet like at other places. The food was amazing and had the best, most authenticflavor. We had chips with the dip trio, the appetizer sampler, and for my dinner I had the Camarones al Potro. I couldn'tbelieve the size of the dish for the price. Such great value. It was absolutely delicious and there were so many big pieces ofshrimp! I was so full I was able to take some home and will get at least one more meal out of it. After dinner, Sady brought mydad a cake and a put a sombrero on him. It was so sweet and so much fun. This is definitely going to be my new neighborhoodspot.
