The Whalebone Pub And Scrimshaws

We visited scrimshaws for the first time on valentines night. well, it was one of the best evenings we had out for a long time. absolutely delicious food...big service by friendly staff. very relaxed atmosphere. Tables were beautiful for valentine decorated, red rose for the ladies too. beautiful decoration in the restaurant....clean toilets(always the best sign)....There was a singer(Frank ryan) for the evening...Sang classic love songs gently in the background, great with the diners...and built up to a great end where everyone cheered for more. only a super evening round. I have to say, although eating was amazing....cant wait to try the recommended sundy. thank you. very much All....Mr mrs. wood (in the one that smashes the salt pot!)sorry xx

Very enjoyed our visit in this pub, beautiful decor and friendly staff. the food was great and a lot of it! the children were also satisfied with their eating, usually get a moan of them over midday! and were amused with the Bouncy Castle so that we could relax. will definitely return, a great family pig!

Two. For years we had our big daughter birthday here. large eating and seafood (yellowed aale were beautiful,) children all loved the bouncy castles. would be highly recommended. it was also england w sweden with screens everywhere nothing was missed especially the 2 goals. what a great day, great eating, great atmosphere look forward to your next birthday. we will be before to check the menu. Had leber and speck I never order, it was amazing. eating is always good. the staff is very helpful and polite. I can't wait to take my family. 5*

Sadly had occasion to visit the priemises after a lengthy time away (C-19) to a former colleague's funeral wake. The staff were very attentive, respectful and pleasant. The service was efficient and made the sombre occasion more agreeable. The food drink was appropriately priced and staff took extra care to attend to any perceived shortages. I look forward to re-visiting the restaurant post pandemic. S.G.
