The Rose And Crown - Chelmsford

For two visiting Kiwis this is a quintessential English pub. We have enjoyed breakfast, lunch and Sunday dinner Staff were great. Despite being super busy the staff were smiling, very efficient and friendly. The food of course was delicious. A top establishment.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, but absolutely worst pint of Guinness I've ever had

Lovely dog friendly country pub. We had a warm welcome and sat down for Saturday lunch after a long walk with the dogs. The food and service were both excellent. We’ll definitely return.

We were on our way to another venue for breakfast and saw this was open and offering breakfast with outside seating in the sunshine. It was absolutely fantastic, the food was absolutely delicious, the staff were super friendly and attentive and the bill was reasonable. Will definitely be back.

Coming from New Zealand this pub is all that we could wish ror. Super staff very friendly welcoming Thr food is pretty too
