The Fox Hounds Pub - Chelmsford

I visited the restaurant on a Thursday evening with two friends. We enjoyed a lovely meal that included fish and chips and two racks of ribs, along with a dessert. The chips were thick and hearty, the cod was tender and moist with a crispy batter, and the ribs were succulent and flavorful. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. The menu is straightforward and unpretentious, the hosts were friendly, and there were some nice ales to choose from. We definitely hope to return soon. Thank you! Price per person: £10–20. 1st time there last night fantastic place and really friendly atmosphere and landlord and staff so friendly and welcoming, the food wow best fish and chips iv had, big portions and the treacle sponge omg, so good we booked Sunday dinner, cant beat village pubs and home cooked fresh food, Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
