Loch Fyne Restaurant Bar - Chelmsford

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. My Fiancee and I had our valentines meal at Loch Fyne. The set menu looked very nice and we were looking forward to it as we hadn't been before. The service was awful, slow and no communication whatsoever. The first course arrived promptly but the plates were not cleared for 20 minutes and our mains arrived over an hour and a half into the meal. Desserts were reasonable but we were so fed up that we did not even stay for our final course. My starter was very mediocre and my Fiancees main was extremely poor. Desserts were nothing to write home about. Overall it was very expensive and very poor. We will certainly not be returning which is shame as we had high hopes.

Disappointed went here for their mussels but unfortunately they didn't have any as this is a seafood restaurant so thought they would have plenty in stock.

Visited first time as wanted to have Fish Chips. Was not disappointed at all. Fish Chips were absolutely delicious. Will highly recommend.

Love this place me and my wife come here alot, especially during the summer
