Delicious all-round. be prepared for small portions. but go the 3 courses and there will be no roll.
Impressed. because there were no vegan options on the menu, I was a little understandable and doubtful what I would get. I was offered a selection of three meals that could be a starter or a main and a choice of two dessert. it is the best vegan meal I have eaten. huge compliments to the chef, many thanks. the smoked aubergine tempura star and the chipotle chickpea chilli surpassed my expectations and was thoroughly enjoyed. I had a few comments that my eating looked the best! please note that there are many local vegans who have the opportunity to have a fine culinary experience. my only comment is that I feel that the cheek-erbsen would have a bit more heat to balance the aromen even better. many thanks again for a delicious meal.
The Sunday dinner for a 50th birthday was booked with a small compass. a set-eating menu on £24.95 seemed quite cheap for 3 courses. I felt that eating may not be scratched, as this is even cheaper than some of the mass production foods they receive in chain like restaurants. I was totally wrong from the arrival to the departure. the meeting and greeting was perfect and we were led to the garden where we looked through the extensive drinks menus and once ordered were served quickly. the garden is the perfect place to enjoy a drink and enjoy the summer sun. as soon as our table was ready, our drinks were collected and we moved into the beautiful restaurant where we enjoyed our 3 courses that can only be described as perfect under consideration of the price. the service was 1st class and very professional. we leave 100% satisfied and will certainly be refreshed from the a la carte menu.
My wife treated me to a birthday dinner at this restaurant. It was a busy Saturday night, but the bar staff and servers were still attentive and polite. We had a great time sampling the diverse cocktail and gin menus. We opted for the 7-course meal, which was delicious! Each dish was perfectly portioned and expertly prepared. The sorbet was especially amazing. I actually follow one of the chefs on Facebook, which is why we chose this restaurant, and I was thrilled to see him there, despite how busy it was. He even added some special dishes to our 7-course meal, which were outstanding. The scallop pakoras were a standout dish for us. We would happily eat a full plate of those with some beers in the afternoon. We ended the meal with a few tequila shots. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We can't wait to come back and see how the chefs' careers continue to grow. Best of luck to the young chefs!
