Costa Coffee - Chelmsford

Visited this Saturday and was served by Alec who was making my daughters drink, Alec thought it was ok to stick his tongue out to his female colleague flicking it in and out whilst warming milk, his SPIT and Saliva sprayed over his and his colleagues equipment and the milk jugs, I told Alec to get the manager and they had a quick chat before the Manager came out and they were both laughing.. I asked the manager that does he think its acceptable that when a customer complains that he comes out laughing with the colleague that I wanted to complain about! I ripped into them both as this is unhygienic and disgusting.CORONAVIRIS is getting worse and then you have these idiots making your drinks.I will not be revisiting this store as the training comes from the top so all I can presume is that this store is OK with this behaviour and it has become the culture here.#CORONAVIRUS# COVID 19COSTA SORT IT OUT

The atmosphere was very lively and the service we received was warm and friendly. The hot chocolate was excellent. The table surface was clean and the floor tidy. The toilets were almost spotless.

We often pop in to Costa for refreshments after finishing our shopping because they have friendly staff, a nicely laid out café can provide you with a good cup of coffee nice food.

Always get great service when I visit here. The staff are super friendly and I've never been disappointed with the service. Better that then shop in Rayleigh!

When shopping in South Woodham Ferrers I usually have a coffee before I go. Standard Costa's, Friendly staff, coffee as expected. Usually busy.
