The Boathouse Pizzeria And - Cheboygan

The place is run down looking when you pull in. We went inside anyway to have a look. When heading in there is a hand written note that you order and pay at the bar. (Not a big deal most places are short staffed. The lady behind the bar wasn't the most inviting and she pointed out that there was no wait staff to order pickup and pay at the bar and she put down the menu. These was black lines through most of the menu and the only thing they offered was the pizza. Not what we were looking for. (Yes I know it says pizzeria but most places offer other things . To us it just wasn't what Google showed us in reviews.

My family loves the boat house. People have always been so kind the food was always the best. I am not sure why you closed but I wanted to write to tell you we all will miss you. I hope someday when things get better that you return . Cheboygan is not a better place without you.

First of all, this is one of my favorite places ever in the state of Michigan! Up here you have the beautiful waters, the views, so much fun and more. Although The Boathouse is closed now, I will always remember it for the phenomenal service, food, and scenery. The last few times I visited, the waitresses gave us great discounts! This place will always have a place in my heart. Wishing it will return again!

I would give them 5 stars, but they didn't have wait staff, but think they are working on it. The pizza was excellent! There is a bar, seems like a really nice place to chill at night.
