We enjoyed our meal on the outdoor deck, where I had fish and chips. It seems that many restaurants opt for cheaper fish, believing that once it's battered and fried, it will taste good regardless.

Slow Bell is a wonderful local gem. We visited twice and thoroughly enjoyed the straightforward but delicious food. Our server was an absolute delight. The atmosphere here is vibrant and lively, making it a fun place to dine.

Okay, that's not a 5-star restaurant, it's a solid 4-star place and I'm giving it 5 starters. Unexpected low prices for a coastal island restaurant, huge portions of delicious food, and a "staff of personality" like something from a sitcom that you want to have made additional tips only for them. You serve ice cream, and 'Adult' sunflowers with a shot of your choice of spirit or liqueur, or just a blob in your coffee. The famous May Hall is vegetarian, so there are always alternative dishes planned, but it cooks meat like a meat eater. If you get there early enough, and they managed to keep everything obnoxily zahnsome dessert from the ravenous clutches of the dishwasher, you can have created an obnoxily zahnsome Dessert May. Live music most every weekend, and occasional in-house entertainments like karaoke and pub trivia, or just hang with the colorful locals, it is a great place to visit. If you tour the islands in Casco Bay, make sure to swing by when they are open.

We organized a farewell dinner of the wedding party here and it was wonderful! The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the food was great. Our guests had a fantastic time and we highly recommend this café!
