Les Remparts - Chaumont

I'm going back to this restaurant located not far from the station. The room was redesigned carefully. It's nice. I didn't notice any air conditioning. I chose a dish (servi) and desserts (at will) for 22 euros. the map presents beer and local wines of Haute-Marne. the table is of good taste, and presents towels in fabric. the dishes of the free buffet service are of great freshness and the desserts are made home. Before the service was to be desired, but there the service is worthy of a great restaurant. attentive, attentive and professional, bravo. I really enjoyed it.

The place is not unpleasant, but the kitchen. We were served with homemade chips. The very dark coloring gave a hint. Insipid if this taste of beignet oil...Rumsteak Frite...A plate without decoration (even not a pot of salad), small bowl of fries half of which are crammed. I fell on a perimeter mustard bag. (I watched the date on the bag following the unpleasant taste)For what is the round of desserts...Nothing that looks like a pie or a "real cake". It was honestly not appetizing. I risked on the tiramisu and a little fruit salad.Tiramisu not bad, fruit salad. I didn't know it could be missed. And this splendid menu for which one comes out with hunger costs 21 €If you add a coca to 4€ and a coffee to 3.

The place has a little disappointing charm but, a certain charm. I had dinner on the brewery side (there is a "gastronomic restaurant" and a "Brasserie" side). I chose the buffet entrances (shrimps, lentils, herrings, cutters, etc.). and a meal of the day to the salmon. The kitchen is nicely traditional, the service is kind and attentive. The place is about the tumult, like the city.

First visit to this brewery, welcome very well, well, very clean toilet. we took the buffet a volonte and dish.2 kirs and 2 bieres.total 58 euros.patron and nice boss.
