This is a local cuisine that is especially suitable for locals. It owners are Teochew Chinese and there serve mainly Mekong Delta clamps such as Sour Fish Soup (Canh chua Fish in Claypot (Cá kho tù without the tone pot. Braised pigs trotters etc. In most Vietnam, the Canh chua can be too sweet and lack of equilibrium. However, acidic plums are added here, which gives it a finer taste. The fish in the tone pot was nicely caramelized and not too salty. The rest of the food is also good. The decor is simple, but without air conditioning. This is a traditional restaurant and does not really fit for the western tourist and will correspond to the adventurous.

Delicious. Fresh ingredients, very friendly service. Everything we ordered was really good and bonus clean bathroom. Lau Mam was excellent, lots of flavour and clean tasting. Def top restaurant to go to in Chau Doc.
