Waffle House E. 23rd St. - Chattanooga

The boiled eggs were not good and the waffles came to the end of us to finish our plate. Great customer service!!

The worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant in my 60 years. Service and food were terrible? If there's a zero star, they'd get it. Did not eat it

We were here with friends. The service was HORRIBLE our server took our order and everything seemed to be okay and when our food finally arrived a long time after waiting, the waffles were burned, bacon burned, Omelet over cooking the eggs looked old, the server beaten a person plate down the toast slipped from the plate to the table and there was no excuse. One person asked that her burned bacon be returned and asked if it could be replaced for sausage instead, who saw glands as if they had been tipped into the bowls and were not very hot. The facility was in no way crowded that our group was seven people, but we sat at two different tables nearby. One person asked the server for ketchup he was upset and said he would get it when he was ready and we asked what the problem was, then he screamed, I will treat you as you treat me and said we needed another server. He went to an employee and threw the tickets with her. We were so confused what he meant, he was very strange when we were there. The other server came over, we explained everything to her, she said that the other server did not want to serve and the manager (Michelle) told him that he had to serve. Then she told us that she would talk to the manager about the situation and if it was her, she would just say that everything was on them, but it wasn't her call. In the end, the manager only took our drinks from our tabs, which were only two or three drinks, which everyone had mainly water. And the one person who had the Omelet decided they didn't want a redo. The manager never wanted to talk to us. When we left one of the people in our group, we only asked for a cup of ice and the previous server called them to wash dishes and he had to wait. We all stopped and looked at him like his problem, and we said he had to go home or be fired, then he made a racist comment on the effect that he did not say anything about black people, and how they act, and I just lost it, my friends had to accompany me from the restaurant because that was not required to say everything then he tried to tell the other server that we were talking about him in racist manner. This Waffle House needs some corporate office attention. We send companies an email. One of the people in the group took pictures of our food I wished. It was so ridiculous and I do not recommend this particular situation at all.

Our server was nice and fast brought us menus, the food was decent, but my coffee was terrible, it was old and cold. The service was fast, but I found some ants crawling on my table, I thought it was weird, but worn on lol. The location seems pretty rough, there were people who asked for food in the parking lot, a man who kissed me through the restaurant window and another man who dared over the street then ran before my car when I left. Don't worry, I missed him. Because of the madness outside, I would probably not visit this place again.

Would have liked to have dined in. Walked in, looked around for a table. All available tables were dirty. Waited for five minutes for someone to notice or care that four people were just standing around waiting for some kind of service. An offer to clean the table, a hello, I?ll be with you in a moment? ? something? got fully ignored. I like waffle houses, I like the food, been several times. Really didn?t appreciate this place. Just left. Wouldn?t recommend coming here.
