Contribuiți la feedbackWe are getting one at home soon so of course when we realized there was one here we had to try it. Great atmosphere and great live music.Only downer is we got a parking ticket bc we didn't know any better but that's our fault for not paying more
Nic Normans is inside the Chattanooga choo-choo, so the setting is historic and beautiful. The food was good at reasonable prices. The staff created a sweet coffee drink for me. Overall, it was a great experience.
Food was a little more typical than we thought it would be. It was fine, and I'd eat here again. Probably a nice place to go with a group when it's not in single digit temps outside.
Burgers are good, food is consistent but bar food, though they do have some other offerings I haven't tried. They were not ready to serve the dinner special at 5p. Not very busy the times I've visited, service was okay. Sat at a 2 top table with other 2 top customers when the rest of the restaurant had plenty of open seating. Ended up basically eating lunch and conversing with some out of town folks visiting chattanooga since we were nearly touching elbows. They were uncomfortable with how close they were seated to us as well since there was no privacy in their conversation, nor mine with my son. Wasn't the lunch I planned for me and my 6 year old son to get quality time. I'd like to like this place more since the atmosphere is large and spacious and full of history at the Choo Choo -if you're a Walking Dead fan you might appreciate Nic and Norman's, but Dead is a decent description the times I've been, and plenty of better restaurants nearby if you keep walking...
I ordered the lamb burger with sweet potato fries. The bun was stale and the fries were okay. Probably won’t eat here again. Rumor is Norman has never been to his restaurant either.
