The tamales here are outstandingly fresh. My top pick was the zucchini and cheese tamale, while the pork tamale was also quite tasty. Be sure to order the refried black beans topped with queso fresco and a side of fresh guacamole with chips. Pair your meal with one of their delightful agua frescas—I'd recommend the cucumber—and you’ll have the perfect summer day. This lovely little gem has been in business for years, offering picnic tables and cozy indoor seating, along with excellent service. It’s clean, authentic, and a bit off the beaten path. A+ rating!
