Log Cabin Mercantile Co. - Chatsworth

I recently visited this quaint little spot on Valley Circle in Chatsworth. It was a delightful surprise to discover their selection of treats. We were pleased to find out they offer mixed chai lattes, which we thoroughly enjoyed while chatting with the owner. They mentioned they have live music planned for the back terrace in the near future. Currently, they are open Thursday through Sunday.

Disappointing. The last update from the owners indicated they were open, but when I arrived on Saturday, I found a closed sign after waiting for an hour.

The log cabin merkel not only offers delicious affordable drinks and organic products, but they offer a service that loves them and takes care of them fully. they will not only feel this establishment confused physically, but leave with a feeling of love because that is what this business is made.

Wow. This was the sweetest hidden gem of a spot. From the outside it looks like a little market/coffee shop and I had to stop by and check it out. From the moment I walked in I knew this shop was special. The woman who greeted me was so kind, told me how she ran a local non profit geared towards fire prevention and how this shop was started by her mother over 53 years ago. I ordered an iced almond milk latte and it was phenomenal. As we continued chatting I learned more about how they have live music and the most delicious pastries. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a sweet treat and caffeine fix.

My sister lives down the street. And everytime I come here it’s closed. Even though the website says open
