Ramen Zundo - Chatswood

Had Ramen cravings and drove to Chatswood, since there's no veg ramen in, or near Manly. Zundo has a few locations, and has a vegetarian section on the menu. Today I had the spicy miso ramen the house draft lager. I enjoyed the ramen, and it was spicy (yay! , but could have had more tofu, and more variety of toppings. So pretty good, but not next-level amazing. The house draft beer is a typical inoffensive Japanese lager. Good to cleanse a spicy palate. I wish they had veg Tantanmen Ramen (creamy sesame paste base , which is is my favourite. Will have to cook some at home this week! Also love Dandanmian (Dan Dan Noodles , which is the Chinese origin of Tantanmen, but less soupy Updated from previous review on 2024-04-07

Ramen is cooked to perfection. Only the soup is a bit too salty to my liking.

Would highly recommend Ramen Zundo. It's a bit of a walk from the main bit of Chatswood, but worth it. Food and cocktails are delicious and full of flavour. Also, went at a peak time on Friday, and despite being busy were seated and served quickly. Would definitely go back, perhaps during happy hour! Would give 5 stars if Happy Cow let me!

This is probably the best vegetarian ramen I’ve had in Sydney! It’s a tasty miso base that even my carnivore partner said he’d order next time. Will come back to try their other vegetarian ramen! Updated from previous review on 2023-08-27

Really good portion sizes, cheap and tasty but nothing was amazing. solid option
