Nahm Jimm - Chatswood

The recently opened Hawker Lane in Westfield Chatswood is pretty neat.

We wandered around Hawkers Lane which is entered from either Victoria Avenue or from the Westfield shopping centre.

So it was my first time to try mao cai. one of the most unforgettable experiences I've ever had. I have lived in chatty for about 10 years and every time I'm past this food dish, I see dozens of Chinese eating from these bronze nudelsuppen dishes. out of curiosity, I tried it after I was tried for about 3 years and I have to say. I really don't think it's as bad as some of the other reviews suggest. it's a Sichuan court, so you have to expect it to be sharp. I have the one-pot version with meat, the bark stripes, trip, lunch meat, blood jelly, waxy, bean sprout wombak. not the best mix of meat, would have been able to do without lunch meat. overall it was not bad, but a little expensive for what they get.
