Jamaica Blue - Chatswood

I am hesitant to write a negative review, but I feel it is important to warn others about their experience at this restaurant. The server did not apologize for making me wait for 5 minutes before taking my order, all while complaining about customers to colleagues. The reheated food was lukewarm, and I was told I couldn't order eggs on toast because it would take too long to make. The coffee was average, but there was no effort put into its presentation, especially considering the high price. It is disappointing because the location is convenient and the cakes looked delicious. If I were the owner, I would consider hiring new staff and investing in equipment to ensure proper food preparation.

AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS. The service is dreadful as well. I ordered the steak sandwich for lunch at $17.90. When it arrived, the bread was burnt and cracked, making it impossible to hold. I had to use utensils to try and cut into it, but the meat smelled bad and was tough like bubblegum. It was completely inedible. When I complained to the staff, they were extremely rude. They didn't take my concerns seriously and didn't offer to fix the sandwich or refund my money. I strongly advise against dining here. I hope the NSW Food Authority investigates the disgusting food preparation at this establishment. The owners need to reconsider their staffing choices.

Delicious afternoon tea combined with baked cheesecakes and black coffee in a reasonably quite setting. The service was efficient and the only criticism being the cost, which is quite high.

An bizarre attitude from every staff member, especially the male barista with a beard. He had this forlorn face, plain rudeness without any eye contact whatsoever. He gave away vibes as though we were there begging for free meals. Really detestable, will never ever return to this pathetic, overpriced cafe with laudable food. Best to avoid at all cost

The service is terrible and the prices are extremely high for what you get! A sausage roll for $12 and a kids-sized smoothie for $7.50 is outrageous. If you're looking for delicious food, friendly service, and reasonable prices, this is not the place to go.
