Diningroom is clean and tidy. Our soup came out fast, hot and delicious. And the rest of our order was soon to follow after our soup was done. Again hot and delicious.
My husbands family has been coming to this restaurant for 20+years and the food speaks for itself!
This is a small but great Chinese restaurant. The food is not prepared in bulk or ahead of time. Each dish is traditionally what you would hope for, and oh so fresh with lovely crisp vegetables. The chicken balls are not full of heavy breading that you sometimes get other places. Lots of little extras in the dishes. You will enjoy this intimate place, maybe even be waited on by the friendly owner! Enjoy!
The person who took my order and the person who rang me through were really super friendly. The “special dinner for 2” contained the best egg rolls I have ever been given and sublime wanton soup. The chow mein had fresh crisp julienned carrots and celery and a great savoury flavour. The chicken balls were disappointing (too bready to be house made). The fried rice was very very fresh but a little bland. Crunchy Soo Guy with a light and nutty gravy. This is a great restaurant for a little village!
The best Chinese food hands down. Every selection offered here is to die for. Occasionally if you are lucky you may even hear the proprietor break out his guitar and sing for you while you dine. Some days extremely busy and the restaurant is small. Do yourself a favour and dine at the Lucky Wok, you will not be disappointed
