Contribuiți la feedbackBased on the reviews, I thought vegan options would be a lot but a very heavy non vegan menu, with only three options identified. a suppe, an salat and falafel we asked what their popular vegan items were and were said: “There are only three and they are good” we spent our money there and continued
Completely vegan menu! the owner recently changed to all vegans, we have breakfast burritos and tofu eggs! so good! all baked were also amazing
We just tried to be the Samoa macarons, so you can't say anything else. I rated 4 stars because, with the filling of baked goods on the hand, it surprised me how little vegan tasty there was. we plan to visit in the summer to enjoy the outside seats!
Our Daily Bread is a small place that does a brisk business at lunchtime. They're open early for coffeehounds and those who want to buy their breads when they're still warm from the oven. They almost always have a vegan soup option...recently had an avocado green gazpacho that was superb. They also have large salads...today's was spinach salad, with walnuts, dried cranberries and sweet potatoes. I added my own cherry tomatoes from my garden to add some extra flavor. My favorite is their version of focaccia, which usually has tomatoes and onions, along with their herb mix. They also have fresh squeezed OJ, as well as other fresh juices. Staff is friendly and service is usually quick, but of course, dependent on the crowd. Weekends can be very busy with tourists from NYC visiting the area, especially over the summer. Outdoor seating is very nice, with vines trained on trellises to give some privacy from the traffic circle. Of course, the downside to al fresco dining is truck and motorcycle noise...
Based on the reviews, I thought vegan options would be plenty however a very heavy NON vegan menu, with only three options identified. A soup, a salad, and falafel we asked what their popular vegan items were and were told “well there’s only three and they are fine” We skipped spending our money there and moved on
