Contribuiți la feedbackWhile the fish on my $18 sandwich was fresh, it was small in poorly seasoned, served on a dry bun. No tartar sauce offered, no lemon supplied. The fish was maybe half the size of the bun. Same issues with the lobster roll. It wasn 't bad lobster, just poorly executed in a small quantity on too much lettuce in an undressed bun. $53 lunch for 2 for barely average food, with adequate service. You look at the progression of what the lobster rolls looked like in the photos here on Yelp a couple years ago and you can see the change from large bountiful chunks of yore to the little shredded bits in the current-day photos. It 's a shame. But, I should have known what I was in for the minute the meal arrived, as the Chef 's selection of a daily side was a small bag of potato chips. No no chef, don 't stress yourself out there. This is a restaurant barely phoning it in, hoping the summer crowd will keep them afloat for another year. Side note: if you 're passing through Osterviille and want a great fish sandwich, you get a big piece of fish, fries and a soda for $8.95 (last I ordered it) with Osterville Fish 's daily lunch special. They always have a line at the register, and Lazy 's was empty. Is it worth over charging if no one shows up?
So disappointed and we definitely won't be going back. My kids were served raw chicken tenders not slightly undercooked but the middle 75% was completely raw. My son ate a bite before we noticed and now we just hope he doesn't end up with food poisoning. When we brought this to their attention, they apologized and brought out new chicken tenders for the kids a few minutes later. Unsurprisingly, my son couldn't even eat them because he was so grossed out. They didn't even offer to refund us the cost of the kids' meals, let alone the entire cost of our $70 lunch. I suppose we could have complained until they refunded our meals but my son just wanted to leave. Everyone makes mistakes but good restaurants try to make things right and the Lazy Lobster sure didn't.
Food is great. Huge lobster roll which was falling out of the bun and delicious. The **** Mary was amazing. The only issue was the atmosphere. Owner/manager sat in the middle of the bar with all of his stuff blocking anyone from being able to enjoy the bar. Thought that was rude. But the waiter was very nice and the food service was fast.
Sunday Review If you have a party of 8 or more, you might be SOL if you don't call ahead. The restaurant is limited where they can't seat multiple large parties. This place is tiny! They have a small lot for parking, free. If the lot is full, you can either park on the street or in the large lot west of lazy lobster. Sunday is all day breakfast, so feel free to sleep in and come here a bit later than the usual breakfast time. Yay! The menu is standard and the prices were reasonable. The Lobster Egg Benedict was on the special today. They also have your standard eggs, omelet, scrambles, Benedict, burrito, french toast, and pancakes. You can always substitute any of eggs to egg whites only for a small price. If you don't want their regular home fries that comes with all egg meals, get their ultimate home fries (melted cheese, bacon, scallions, and sour cream) or veggies all together. -My take- The scrambles gets you loads of ingredient with a shade of eggs. The Eggs Benedict sauce is a bit cheesier and it's a home run if you like cheese. We also ordered a regular stack of French Toast, which was delicious and almost tasted like cake. Overall, everything here is fresh and yummy! PS. They have fresh jams available upon request. Today's were Raspberry and Orange Marmalade. Till next time, cheers!
Possibly the worst dining experience my friends and I have ever endured. We came here for breakfast on a Friday morning and no other customers were there (1st Red Flag). After waiting 30 minutes for our food we were served throw up on a plate. In order to avoid us calling the health inspector they gave us the Family discount but I would never subject my family to the dog food they served. As we were leaving we got a quick glimpse into the kitchen only to see a 12 year old chef, probably the same chefs who 's hair we found in the home fries . My poached eggs were about as dry as the dick drought I am on rn.
