Patapain - Châteauroux

If you want an industrial style sandwich and are in a hurry you could do worse than here!Conscious of my growing waist line I chose a salad with chicken and cheese.All good until I thought I spotted something moving between the salad.Oh my God a fairly large crawly insect soaked in salad dressing!It looked like a cockroach but I am not an expert!My appetite truly satisfied despite not having finished .The good thing was the manager was very gracious, apologized and gave a full refund.However he did worry me when he said "it doesn't happen very often".I will stick to sandwiches next time.

Having visited before we knew we were going to a good restaurant and we were not disappointed The food is cooked on site and if you want it heated it doesn't go in a micro wave ! It goes into an oven.The staff are so friendly and helpful we always look forward to repeat visits.

Stopped here for some coffees and to buy some filled baguettes for lunch. Good selection,slightly more expensive than our local branch. Fast efficient service. Toilets clean. Plenty of parking. Baguettes were fresh and tasty. Donuts nice, coffees good depth of flavour.

We always try and visit a patapain when we can as they are great value for money and always very clean! This visit we took 2 plain flans back to the uk! That's talks for itself!
