Sileby Fish - Charnwood

I went out for dinner tonight and entered the restaurant to place my order. Unfortunately, the order was taken incorrectly and when we brought it up, we were made to feel like the mistake was on our end. We had to ask for items that were missing from our order, even though they were supposed to be cook-to-order. The prices were too high for what we received - almost £7.00 for a plate of sausage, chips, and gravy seemed excessive. The portion of gravy was minimal and should have been served separately. Additionally, you can only order cheesy chips in a large portion for £5.00 - it would make more sense to offer cheese as an add-on to a smaller portion. Despite this, the chips were tasty. However, I will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.

Visited this evening and was met with extremely rude and unhelpful staff. My order was incorrect and the food was of poor quality. I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

I ordered a large portion of fries and 3 battered sausages but only received 2 sausages. I was told it would be a 5-minute wait for the third sausage, but it was ready in just 2 minutes. However, when I checked my order outside, I realized they had given me a regular sausage instead of a battered one. When I went back inside to address the issue, I was told that they couldn't do anything about it. I am extremely disappointed with the service at this restaurant. It used to be a favorite spot for my family, but now I have lost all respect for them.

Order 35 mins late, fish and chips cold,batter was like eating soggy cardboard, absolutely vile only ate a few of mouthfuls grandsons fish looked like flat pancake,most of the meal in the bin,waste of £17, never again,rang to complain they don't even bother to answer phone.

Your standard local chip shop, nothing particularly off the beaten path about the menu but do you really want there to be? Or do you want some greasy chips and sausage? You want some greasy chips and sausage. That’s the kind of stuff you’ll get here for a good price.
