Contribuiți la feedbackThe very best Lobster Rolls...at a rest stop along the Mass Turnpike, no less!
Not sure what was going on on the kitchen but they couldn't keep up with orders. So the front staff just told the next customers in line that she'd take their order later and that she needed to go help in the kitchen. For a fast food place, our food took more than 15 minutes. I was told to expect amazing food. I ordered 2 sandwiches, one for later in case this legendary lobster roll wasn't so great. And it was not great. The downside is, neither was the plain old steak sandwich. I'll never go out of my way to return here.
I saw some comments about less than wonderful service, and I'd just like to say I was really impressed with the service. The lady that took my order was very pleasant, and asked if I wanted a drink to go with my sub.If you are a vegetarian like me, this next part of the review is for your reference. I got the veggie sub, and it's no subway super-veggie...prepare for a classic French baguette with sautéed onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and tomatoes. These flavors are unfortunately made subtle by the copious amounts of american and provolone cheese that overwhelm the sub and your taste buds long after the sub is consumed.Again, the service was phenomenal.
I ordered 2 large toasted Italian subs with everything. I received 2 maybe medium Italians with not much meat, a lettuce sprinkle a few onions and a few tomatoes. No oil, vinegar, banana peppers. The counter guy was taking money and serving pizza. His nails were black underneath. I used to love D'Angelo's but maybe not any more.Vegetarian options: They have optionsWheelchair accessibility: Full access
One of, if not the best steak and cheese sandwiches I've eaten.
