Montana's Cookhouse - Charlottetown

Ordered takeout with full rack of ribs and they were terrible. The slogan of fall off the bone certainly didn?t apply. The meat was tuff and dry and you almost needed a knife to get it off the bone. Would not recommend this restaurant.

After living in Canada for 3 years, I experienced discrimination for the first time at this restaurant. My family and two friends went for dinner on October 29. When we requested a table for 6, the host told us we would have to wait 45 minutes, which we agreed to. However, after 10 minutes, he asked us to leave and said they would message us when a table was available. I pointed out that it seemed discriminatory as there were other customers inside, including elderly individuals and a larger group than ours. The host rudely suggested calling the manager, and I agreed. Sadly, the manager also treated me poorly, speaking arrogantly and gesturing aggressively. Despite having already seen us waiting, I was told to leave and stand outside. I left the restaurant and informed the manager he would hear from me soon. I believe an investigation by the human rights commission should be conducted to address this discrimination, as there were no visible foreigners working at the restaurant either.

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, especially the ribs and steak. We first came here for our first date and have been regulars ever since. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. The servers are attentive but still give you your personal space. I highly recommend it!

The staff was fantastic and very hospitable. The ambiance was nice, as we only had to wait a few minutes to get a table for three. However, the food did not meet my expectations. The ribs were too dry and difficult to eat, as were the wings. On the bright side, the nachos were delicious and the portions were generous. The restaurant should focus more on improving the quality of their food, but overall everything else was great.

Excellent restaurant! Very friendly staff! We had an excellent waitress. We had the brisket sandwich with the spice fry's, they were the best brisket sandwiches we ever had. Very tender,the sauce and crunchy onions was excellent. Very clean restaurant. We will definitely be back.
