MacAulay's Bakery and Deli

We've put MacAulay into play for a few leaks this afternoon, including a coconut cream pipe. We were surprised how affordable and delicious everything was. In any case, we'll get back in somewhere when we visit the island

I expected more choices and upscale options from this restaurant. Considering the price, I was hoping for better quality than what I would find at a typical grocery store bakery.

Here you will definitely get a “home cooked” type of meal selection, but the prices are high. The quality of meals provided is only average. Tim Hortons serves better quality and at a lower price.

I visited this bakery for the first time and it was easy to locate. The self-service display had a variety of freshly baked breads, cookies, and squares that looked like homemade recipes. I hadn't had cherry pastries in a while and was delighted to find a pack of six. The lady at the counter was friendly and helped me with my purchase. This bakery has two locations, and I visited the main store on Eden Street.

I had lunch with my 13-year-old daughter. We started with the freshest bread and cold cuts, and there were plenty of sweets for everyone to find something they liked.
