Churchill Arms - Charlottetown

From this world! The fish and chips are no second. The homemade corma curry is from the chain. If you put a spoon on your head, your tongue would beat your brains to get it! The chicken tikka nachos were on point.

Once in Guelph, Ontario there was a pub called The Penny Whistle, which served chips (freshries) and curry (curry flavored sauce/gravy). It was a personal favorite. The penny was killed by the pandemic, so many restaurants were. I was afraid I would never taste the glorious curry and chips again, but lo and behold, the Churchill Arms served it and it was beautiful, holy even. I love every moment. TL;DR Great food, staff, ambience and price.

Great menu and atmosphere. I ordered a Ceasar salad and added chickens. Fast service and staff was amazing. We loved this place.

Fish and chips are amazing and the portions are very generous. A piece of fish filled the whole plate! Nothing was greasy, the dough was so light and crispy and perfectly finished. I had a side of muddy peas that were good, but the side of curry sauce for fry diving left me with the taste. Real British food. You will not be disappointed!

Don 't know why we haven 't been going to the Churchill Arms more often. After choosing other restaurants lately we will now be making Churchill our go to restaurant! A cozy restaurant and charming atmosphere and of course lots of Churchill memorabilia. It has a great menu with lots of very tasty curries in all sorts of different formats including nachos and quesadillas as well as the more traditional presentations. And of course, other non-curry menu items as well. Food was super tasty, served quite quickly by friendly staff. Prices were very reasonable. Just a wonderful place for a relaxing lunch!
