Super Amanecer - Charlottesville

This place offers unique items you won't find at Wegmans or Kroger, such as great deals on spices, cotton candy, large cooking pots, passion fruit jam, chocolate coating for dipping bananas and other frozen fruits, Pepinesa sandwich spread made with sweet pickles and pimentos, pineapple pie, ground shrimp, and dried eucalyptus leaves (perfect for adding to a hot bath to help clear your sinuses and improve your breathing). I'm looking forward to returning and trying some of their baked goods!

This is a fantastic spot for a quick meal. Currently, the restaurant part is closed for renovations and expansion, but the shopping area is lovely and offers a great selection of items. If you're Hispanic and looking for cooking ingredients, you won't be disappointed. Even if you're not, you’ll find plenty of options to get creative with your cooking. The prices are very reasonable, and occasionally they give away a few items, like a soda, for free.

This is a fantastic place to shop! I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of products available. The space is large, and the staff is incredibly friendly, always ready to assist or answer any questions. Overall, a wonderful experience!
