Contribuiți la feedbackI’ve never encountered pastries that are as delicious as they are beautiful! The sourdough bread was the best I’ve ever tasted, both in texture and flavor. I devoured the Jorgensen salmon sandwich within minutes in the car; it was incredibly fresh, crunchy, and light. It didn’t need any capers, as they would have overshadowed the delicate, subtle flavors. We also got a chocolate almond croissant, a quiche, and a ham, egg, and cheese sandwich, and each one was better than the last. The coffee was equally exceptional!
I absolutely love the pastries available in the area, especially the pecan sticky buns, which are to die for. However, this was our first visit to a MarieBette location, and I was disappointed with the $11 Croque Madame—it just didn't impress me. While I wasn't thrilled with the restaurant itself, I will still continue to enjoy pastries from other places in town.
This bakery is fantastic, offering a wide variety of unique and delicious breads. The sourdough even features the image of a historical figure, which is a charming way to honor history. However, I wouldn't recommend the tea; it costs $3.25 for a large cup but only includes one bag of tea powder instead of real tea leaves. For $3 at Starbucks, you can enjoy tea made with actual leaves, which is much more flavorful. Unfortunately, what I received was just hot water with a hint of tea flavor, and one bag wasn’t enough to make a proper cup. I ended up tossing it. Save your money!
Really love MarieBette Cafe (both locations)! Everything I?ve had from there has been great breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and coffees/teas/hot chocolates. Finally getting around to reviewing them after ordering a cake a couple of weeks ago. It 100% met my wishes! I asked for the lemon cake with pink or white peonies and white lily of the valley flowers (to represent May), and I was amazed when I saw the cake! It was spot on for what I wanted in looks and taste!
The 5 stars is for the pastries. The Pastries are delicious, the coffee is lackluster. There are 2 locations, and this is the better one in my opinion. Definitely try their canalés, their palmiers, and their kouign amann if they have it. Their pastries change all the time so if you blink you might miss it. Their canalés are delicious. Crispy on the outside and fluffy and creamy on the inside. I?ve never had one before but now I?m hooked and I can?t get enough. The Kouign
