Camp Ten Four Graduate Charlottesville

Positive: Great location. The decor of the rooms was eclectic with vintage pictures and retro furniture, kind of fun but may not be everyone's cup of tea. Negative: $18/might parking charge but perhaps understandable given it is right near VU and parking around any major university is always a problem.

Avid, avid traveler so have seen my fair share of hotels. Was really looking forward to giving the Graduate brand a try ? and unfortunately an all-around awful experience on our weekend stay. When we checked in, we were given keys and a room number (written clearly on the card). We go up to ?our? room, and find that?someone else was staying in that room. We quickly close the door and go downstairs to get a new room since we, uh, just walked in on a room where others were

Great staff, particularly Matthew and Patrick. Hotel has a great rooftop. However, rooms are tired and could do with thicker doors and walls (for better soundproofing). The third floor is also in front of the parking lot and some of my family reported having headlights flash into their room into the early hours. The property needs investment to match the calibre of care provided by the staff and to justify the prices.

Excellent location right across from Grounds and the hospital, 4 min walk to the Lawn. Courteous staff, rooftop bar The Trophy Room has a great view and relaxed hunting/fishing vibe. Not inexpensive but recommend for a special getaway! (My boys liked that there are dumbbells in the weight room

I don't understand the negative reviews of this place. Not trying to diminish anyone's experience or opinion, but my recent stay was superb. From the room itself with the charming décor details and very comfortable bedding to the rooftop restaurant's tasty snacks and drinks, I really felt like I was staying someplace special and not cookie cutter.
