Bodo's Bagels - Charlottesville

I visited Bodo's for the first time and it was better than I expected! The cinnamon raisin bagel with homemade honey pecan cream cheese was delicious! I also loved the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. The staff members were very friendly, which added to the overall great experience.

Being a native New Yorker from Brooklyn, I have always loved the bagels made in the city. After moving to Virginia, I was disappointed by the quality of the so-called "bagels" until I discovered Bodo's. Their bagels are different, but in a good way - fresh, warm, with an excellent crust and texture. The flavor is slightly less sweet, but still an excellent bagel. Kudos to the great, clean, welcoming staff and the delicious bagels at Bodo's.

We have had bagels before and they were just okay. Not something that would make me stop and choose to eat. However, my husband suggested trying out this place as it had a lot of good reviews. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I ordered a Pastrami and Swiss on an everything bagel and it was amazing. The pastrami had so much flavor. My husband got a cinnamon raisin bagel with honey walnut cream cheese and it was delicious! Despite the long wait, it was definitely worth it.

My kids love the salt bagels... The pictures are everything and sesame also... The bottom is toasted brown chewy on the outside soft on the inside. ???? (Not too far from Best buy if you're looking for directions)
