Atlas Coffee - Charlottesville

As a Seattle native on a constant quest for a great coffee experience out east, I can confidently say that Atlas Coffee is the best you’ll find in Charlottesville. The welcoming staff and pleasant atmosphere are the cherry on top, but the quality coffee is the main attraction. To put it in perspective, I would give it three or four stars compared to the typical neighborhood coffee shop in Seattle. However, when compared to any other coffee spot in central Virginia, it’s a solid five stars, without a doubt.

Great coffee and delicious breakfast biscuits. There's limited indoor seating with just a few stools, but the outdoor seating area is lovely.

My new favorite coffee shop in Charlottesville! The coffee is excellent, the people are friendly, and it's a perfect spot to relax for a while. I absolutely love Atlas!

What a great neighborhood spot! Excellent coffee and baked goods, super-friendly people, nice patio. Great place to bring the kids for a treat or the dogs for a little outing.

Went here on 2 Feb around 11 am, and had a triple shot of espresso and a slice of banana nut bread. The espresso was good, the nut bread seemed fresh, and the baristas were nice. Have had nothing but good experiences here since 2016.
