Amazing food, service and experience. Would definitely come here again.

One of our favorite places to dine in Charlottesville. A variety of settings from the intimate Library (perfect on a cozy winter evening) to either the enclosed or open air patio where you can watch the sunset. Food and service are divine!

A Manhattan and glass of wine with tip ran over $50.00! The trout was excellent, but the vegetarian dish my wife ordered was mediocre at best. The risotto was far too wet (mushy . We ate in the library room, cozy but a bit noisy. The wine list is limited. It was our anniversary dinner, which was listed with our names on the menu. Nothing more was done (no candles, cake, etc. .

Our anniversary dinner was outstanding. However, when we came back on the last night of our stay we decided to try your steak offering. The steaks were tough with a lot of fat and gristle.

We used to go there many years ago when it was a Relais Chateaux. It was vibrant, with wonderful knowledgeable international staff, the food was excellent and the menu changed frequently. Since then, it has steadily gone down in every way. It is the second time, years apart, that we simply walked out, never to come back.
