Ted's Montana Grill - Charlotte

Great time with friends and family. Philip was an awesome server, very attentive. The food was delicious. The Bison was well cooked with great taste and their drinks well made. No matter which Ted's Montana Grill we go to, they never disappoint.

I gave it a 5, because top to bottom this place is fantastic! Is it the best steak in Charlotte? No but it’s close. The price is worth the quality of cut. Go for the bison cut at $35. The sides are very good as well. Broccoli is huge and very tasty. Loved the onion rings! Everyone at the table really enjoyed their meals. Sidebar: I tried the bison meatloaf and I will probably order that next time. Very tender. I was very impressed with their cocktails. I ordered the Buffalo 41. Buffalo Trace Bourbon is one of my favorites and this cocktail doesn’t disappoint. Wasn’t overly sweet. Service was great and we all felt very safe Covid friendly.

The best part of our visit was our bartender, Chris! We had originally wanted to go to another place which was closed and decided to give Ted's a try. Chris made us the BEST cocktails and was attentive, even though he had a ton of drinks to make. AND, managed to make my sister a Old Fashioned that was ALMOST as good as her husband's...which is SUPER hard and better than any restaurant in Charlotte (or world) that he has frequented. He was phenomenal and we can't wait to visit again and have him make us some more drinks! Thank you Chris!

I recently ate dinner at Ted's Montana Grill in Waverly to celebrate my birthday with a good friend who also has a November birthday. We sat in the bar. I ordered the Red Rock beef burger. It has pepper jack cheese with jalapeños and onion straws on a ciabatta roll. I loved this burger. They also have a good selection of craft beers and cocktails.

We had a good lunch. Everyone lived it. For the cost, location and perceived high class I would expect to have more of an ambience.
