Sir Edmond Halley's And Freehouse

This was my second visit to this Irish restaurant, and it was delightful. The meatloaf was fantastic, especially paired with my Black Tan (which is their version of half Guinness and half Harp). The atmosphere here is cozy and welcoming, and we often end up making new friends from various places—people we've stayed in touch with even after the evening has ended. On this particular night, we were part of a larger group event with over 20 people, but unfortunately, the person responsible for organizing it didn’t follow through. However, the management and staff quickly stepped in to ensure everything went smoothly. We've come to really love this place; it truly has everything you need for a wonderful evening.

The online menu differs from the physical menu in the restaurant. Vegan elements are not clearly marked on the paper menu. the informed curry base is made with sausage. the staff is fairly informed, but I am skeptical. friends are great!

Came for a business trip down and had not expected a pub to have some solid vegan options. I have the organic tofu curry with basmati rice as well as a design and a cocktail.

Beautiful place with large terrace. extensive beer and wine selection. large vegan options. hummus, chili, beyond and veggie burger, buffalo flowers (ask for vegan) curry etc

Big wine, we had curry and delicious flower cabbage wings! the staff was also super friendly!
