Original Pancake House - Charlotte

We arrived at the restaurant early in the morning for breakfast as a group right after they opened. The group ordered various pancakes, eggs, and other breakfast items. The food was delicious, especially the pancakes. The prices were reasonable, the staff was friendly, and the service was fast. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

My granddaughter and I absolutely adore this restaurant. Even if there is a long wait, it is definitely worth it. The breakfast here is fantastic and I always end up taking some leftovers home. The potatoes are delicious and the Texas toast pairs perfectly with breakfast. My granddaughter's favorite dishes are the strawberry pancakes and crepes.

Great home town, open atmosphere!! They have a patio that's covered by trees when you walk up, so you can wait to be seated if needed. When you walk in, something tells you this food is about to slap (be really tasty), so the hostess sits you down andgives you everything you need. Very attentive servers, pleasant attitudes and willing to accommodate you with whatever you need!We needed to adjust the order, and there was no negative feedback; they fixed the issue and made sure we left with smiles on ourfaces! If I could give 0 stars, I would. The sweet tea and apple juice were way too sweet. The omelette didn't even look like an omelette. The only thing that was halfway decent was the waffle, and I barely ate that. The house potatoes tasted like the grill. I had to send back half of my food. My wife and I spent $44.46 and we are still hungry. It was definitely not worth the trouble coming here. I suggest going to McDonald's instead.

Besides the 2 hour wait ???????????, the food was great, fresh and the portions were for a feast. The kids meals were a great size also, one plate could feed two little ones. Will definitely be going back.
