Mariposa - Charlotte

During this visit, I tried the paella for the first time, and I didn’t particularly enjoy it. The rice was clumpy, and while I usually appreciate sticky rice, it didn’t work here. The short rib was delicious, but I felt the overall value wasn’t quite right. That said, I plan to return, but next time I’ll sit at the bar and order the small plates I love, letting the bartender/mixologist handle the service.

This is a fantastic spot for lunch! The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding.

Everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic. The aromas while the food was being prepared and the freshness of the ingredients truly stood out. Our waiter was excellent; he recommended dishes for us, and we followed his suggestions and loved every bite. I can't express enough how much we enjoyed our experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant was incredible, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. We'll definitely return, even though we’re not fond of battling the traffic and parking in uptown. It was definitely worth it!

The service was the best I received in my 27 years here in the Charlotte area. the food was also great.

The musicians were great. Wonderful way to brunch on a Sunday. Love the food and the servers were awesome.
